If not now, how soon?
If not now, when?
These times are calling forth unprecedented change.
At the same time, they are calling for unprecedented change.
Environments are adapting to unforeseen influences, and people are having to move with them, or suffer the consequences. People may fall behind, or keep up, or even – successfully, as they see it – ‘get on top of it’. All of this, however, is within the same paradigm. Rather than change, it represents a continual altering of one’s act and display.
Emergency response, one could say, is less about responding and more about trying to stem the tide of what is oncoming.
Yet, as we know, even King Canut could not hold back the tide.
All are welcome to an exploration of our times, and the tides of change.
