Juggling the Demands of the Now and Future You
By art we live: Who cannot agree with such a statement? Yes, we do need money, and yes, we do need companionship, but the core of one’s being often revolves around a sense of meaning and value, the art we impart to all that we do. We organize things according to our own aesthetic sensibility.
Living, indeed, is an art in itself. And essential to the success of any art – if it is not to be frivolous or temporary – is will. Pure will is not a passing fancy, but a contract between oneself and one’s purpose. It is desire, coupled with a sense of the future one wants.
Please bring paper and art supplies (coloured pencils, etc.) for a practical exercise.
